Doggy Park

Last weekend, I guess my mommy and Bryan needed a break from crazy Monica. So we packed up the goldies and went for a car ride. We made some new friends! At first, they weren't being nice. But I put them in their place.

I like being outside. Tilly and I just lounged in the shade while crazy Brendan and our new friends chased tennis balls. I still don't understand what's so great about them.

Blah

So... this new baby sister thing is so overrated. Why does she whine about everything? My beauty sleep is so interrupted. She better get over it soon. But I guess she's kind of cute. She has weird paws. They're big. They look like people hands. What a weirdo.

Monica's Home!

Here's a picture of me and my new baby sister, Monica. My mommy said I better enjoy while she's still small. Haha... she's funny. Everyone knows I'm the queen and I'm the biggest. Right?

I'm Getting a Baby Sister!

For my birthday, my mommy said I'm getting a baby sister. YAY! No stupid boys. Instead, another girl to join me and Tilly's posse. We can be the three musketeers. But I'm the queen. Tilly can be the princess. And I guess she can be a duchess. Mommy said her name is Monica. That's just too long. I think I'll call her Mo for short. I like it. I can't wait until I get to take lots of pictures of her and show her to you on my bloggie! For now, you will just have to wait patiently... unlike me.

Cute Tags

My mommy now has a woman-cave. That's what Bryan calls it. I guess it's fitting because she hides in there doing her typing typing typing. I like sitting under her table. She needs to put a bed in there for me. Anyway... she started making these little taggy things for me to wear. I guess it's cute. But why does she have to wake me up to try it on. All right already. I look cute no matter what I wear. Can I go back to sleep now?

Funny Game

Yesterday, I decided to play a funny game with Mommy. Well, I thought it was funny at first.

I was hiding in the laundry basket with my head down so she wouldn't see me. But I guess she was still typing away on her computer for a long, long time so I fell asleep. Anyway... when it was bedtime, she was looking for me and I heard her call my name. I decided to keep hiding.

My tummy started hurting from holding in my chuckles because she was going in circles and circles, all around the house, turning on all the lights, going outside, peeking in the neighbors' yards. All while I was just sitting quietly in the laundry basket.

She started sounding really worried and she woke up Bryan and he said I came inside after our walkies. Which I did. But Mommy started panicking, because she couldn't find me.

So then I decided to jump out and say, "Here I am!" Then Mommy almost started to cry, saying she was so worried I was lost. Man... I was just trying to be funny. Sometimes Mommy can be so dramatic.

Groomsies

Sometimes, when I'm bored, I like to groom the dogs. They just don't keep proper hygiene. I like to give Tilly little spikies to style up her hair a little. I don't know why it's so funny. My mom seems to think it's hilarious. So does Tilly. Don't you see the stylish bum?

Rainy

I hate it when it's rainy. Mostly because I have to get my paws all yucky walking outside. I wish my mom would build a giant cover for the yard. Yes... and my birthday is coming up... so maybe I'll get my wish.

Take that ShiShi Poo!

I think it's so hilarious how Granny loves me so much more than she loves Molly. Obviously it's because I'm the best dog ever. But you already knew that.

She's adjusting well, but she stays next door with Granny so I don't have to deal with her that often. More importantly, I got a haircut today. Not quite a full one, but just a trim around my face so that Mom says I can see. I don't know what she's talking about. I can see fine.

My uncle Mikey was visiting us these last few weeks and he just left recently. He's taller than I remember. Luckily, he stayed next door too. I am beginning to run out of places to stretch my legs. Yesterday, Brendan ran to my bed and I was very upset. I tried to tell Mom that this just wasn't cool. And she thought it was "cute" and posted it on Facebook. Hmmm... I think I need to start a Facebook account and tell people about the abuse I go through. Just look at THIS!

Molly

Once upon a time, in a town called Maite in Guam, there lived a crazy woman named Mommy. Yep, that's right. My mom has gone off the deep edge. We have added yet another member to this canine clan. Well, I guess you can say that she's not really a NEW addition, per se. Since she was granny's dog in Manila. But since granny moved here, I guess she JUST HAD TO move here too.

I think it's hilarious how she freaks out at the big doggies. HAHAHAHAHA! Get used to it Missy. But if you stick by me, you'll be alright. Just don't bother me during my beauty sleep.

My Tired Mommy

My mommy looks stressed. I see her typing typing typing away on her computer longer and longer. I keep her company even though I just sleep on the couch while she types so she doesn't feel lonely. Every now and then, she will take a break and pat me on the head and call me a good girl. I like that.

But sometimes, I am in a deep sleep and don't want to get up by the time she goes to bed. I can't tell time. But I think it's pretty late, because Zeke and Zeus are already snoring very loudly.

Anyway, today she said she needed a break, so she made us some treats. Aww, my poor mommy. Even when she's taking a break, she has to do something. Bryan calls her a workaholic. I have to google what that means.

In the meantime, look at these yummy punkin' pies she made for us. YUM!!! Just in time for Halloween.

Bye Bye AJ

AJ went to his new home this week. I have to admit, I kind of miss the little booger. But I met his new family, and they look quite alright. His new name is Cooper, and I can tell he is going to be spoiled because he will be an only fur-child. I miss the days when I was an only fur-child. *Sigh*

In other news, my mom has been tearing up the house lately, preparing for all her trunk shows. Yesterday was Dogtoberfest, and I am glad she didn't want me to go, because it was a hot hot hot day. I enjoyed taking a nappy.

But perhaps I do need to go out one of these days. I'll think about joining the golden crew at the dog park... we'll see how I feel later.

Nom Nom Nom

I can tell my mommy's been busy. I was feeling a bit neglected a few days ago, so I hid in the laundry basket so that 1) I could sulk and 2) so the other mongrels wouldn't bother me. Then she found me and I gave her my irresistable puppy dog face. I guess I still have it, because look what she made for me! YUM!!! Unfortunately, I had to share with the others. But I guess that's okay.

What's the Deal?

Some of the mongrels of the house have developed quite an obsession with my bed lately. So when we all come back from doing our business in the yard, I race to my bed so that no one else will jump in. Unfortunately, they still think they can.

One of Tilly's babies, AJ, is still living with us. I tried giving Mommy the look, like, "When is this little booger going to find his own family like everyone else?" but I don't think anyone wants him. Why would they? He's so annoying. Running around like a little monkey wind up toy. It makes me tired just watching him. Look at his irritating face, always up in my business.

All this rain isn't helping either. Rain rain rain rain. Ugh. And then Bryan forces me to walk in the grass. Eww. He should walk in the grass in the rain. See how he likes it. Pfft.

So Where Was I?

Oh yes, I was saying how I regretted saying I didn't like being an only child. When I was about seven human years old, my mommy's special friend Bryan brought home these two ugly monkeys, who became my new baby brothers. They weren't really monkeys, though that would have been cool. I could teach them to get stuff for me because they have thumbs.

Anyway, she named them Ben and Jerry, which the people seem to find amusing. I don't get it. What I REALLY didn't like was when I got a baby sister, because I wasn't mommy's little girl anymore. I mean, she says I am, but still. I grew to love her, Tilly I mean. She wasn't so bad. And she's a big doggie who listens when I tell her to get stuff off the counter for me. HAHAHA! My mommy still hasn't figured out how we do that, so we'll just keep it that way.

I stopped paying attention when more doggies came to live with us. Some would stay briefly, because Mommy said it was only until they found their own family, and some stay longer. Whatever. As long as they left me alone, I leave them alone. But it's hard to ignore someone like Brendan. He can be so annoying. But I guess I grew to love him too.

I became an auntie a few months ago because Tilly had babies. They're so adorable. That is, until they became crazy thinking they can just sleep in my bed when they want. I DON'T THINK SO! Luckily, most of them found new people to bug. Except one. Bryan nicknamed him "AJ." He needs to go away soon. I am not particularly fond of him chasing my tail.

Anyway, my mom said Tilly's not having anymore babies because she got spades. Hmm... I guess she won a poker game. God forbid she were to get hearts and then where would we be?

So that's pretty much my life. I need to go for a potty break to work off this lumpia... my mommy had a party and she couldn't resist giving me some people food. Of course! Who could ever resist me?

Life As I Know It

You know what, I just realized I never told you my life story. Better late than never I guess. Maybe that'll help me update this thing more often.

Where should I start. I guess I'll start back as far as I remember... when I was sitting in a corner with my stinky brothers and sisters. People would come visit us randomly and all of them would get all excited, jumping up and down like little mongrels. That's just not my style. So when a lady picked me up among all of them and didn't put me back, I was very relieved. As you probably guessed, that was mommy.

She likes to tell the story of how I was such a good little puppy and slept in the laundry basket from when I got home. I still do.

I was an only child for a really long time. Sometimes, it got boring. But boy do I regret saying that now. Quiet times are hard to come by with crazy dogs like Brendan around. *Yawn* I'm getting tired... I'll continue my story later.

I'm an Auntie!

Tilly had -- or should I say -- is having her pups as I type. I am very excited but must keep this short because I am on standby to make sure everything is okay. Here I am being a concerned auntie.

Here's Tilly with the first five of the bunch.

More pics soon!

La-Di-Da

I can't believe it's been three months since I have posted anything! I'm so sorry bloggy friends! I guess I've been busier than I expected. You know... watching Mommy with her inventory, scolding the other pups, exploring the yard for fallen mangoes, napping ... I'm tired just thinking about it.

Let's see... what's going on. Oh ... my mommy was talking about Brendan having a gun, I think. I don't quite understand. She said something about thinking he was "shooting blanks." Whatever that means. But I heard her say he's not after all and now Tilly and Brendan are having babies. I don't know what shooting has anything to do with babies, but I am excited to be Auntie Maxine. Don't tell Tilly, but I think she looks really fat.

My mommy also started going to an office again. She doesn't hang out with us and type type type at home anymore. She said she can't concentrate. But the good news is my pouty face finally won her over and she takes me with her to the office sometimes. Look at me, Maxine the career woman!

The people at Mommy's office are nice. They give me treats! The vet says I need to go on a diet. Whatever. Diet Shmiet. He needs to go on a diet.

I can't really think of anything else to talk about right now. So I'll just nap some more and type again later. Bye!
